Data you can trust beats more data

1 min read

When every tool holds a different version of the truth, meetings turn into arguments about whose numbers are right. Adding more reports usually makes this worse, not better.

Start with definitions

Agree what each key number means: what counts as a customer, a sale, an active user. Write it down once and use it everywhere. Most disagreements between reports come from different definitions, not from bad data.

Collect it automatically

Manual exports and copy-paste are where errors creep in. Pull data from your tools into one place on a schedule, and add checks that alert you when something stops arriving or looks wrong.

Then build a small number of dashboards that answer the questions your team asks every week. A few views people trust will change decisions more than many they ignore. See our data & analytics service.
